In 1954, three brothers D.V., Hallis, and Lyte Northcutt built this building and opened Northcutt Brothers Lumber and Building Supplies.
The family sawmill was next door and provided lumber for the company to sell along with everything needed to build a house along with other products including feed.
In addition to selling supplies, there was a section of the building dedicated to manufacturing windows and various other products.
The business was closed after the sawmill burned in the 1960's.

The Lodge hosts events with or without lodging. There are six living units that sleep a total of 20 people as well as a large common area with dining for 20+, a commercial kitchen, and lots of living spaces for kids and adults.
Each living space can be rented individually or the whole place can be used for family, church, corporate, friends, and many other groups. Award ceremony, small weddings, dinners and more are welcome.
Modern appliances and facilities are placed in this 70+ year old building for a great blend of old and new. Handmade furnishings and a lot of effort to preserve the old make for a beautiful place to gather.
